Statement Of Faith

The divine inspiration, infallibility and authority of the Holy Scriptures (2 Tim. 3:15-17; 2 Pet. 1:21; 1 Thes. 2:13).   The one and living God eternally existent in three persons unity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Duet. 6:4; Ex. 3:14; Isa. 43:10; 48:16; Mat. 28:19; Lk. 3:22).   The inherent sin of man through the fall, the necessity for repentance and the regeneration by grace and through faith alone, and the eternal separation from God the finally impenitent (Gen. 1:26-27; 2:17; 3:6-24; Rom 7:13-25).   The Virgin Birth, sinless life, atoning death, triumphant resurrection, ascension and abiding intercession of our Jesus Christ, the Son of God became incarnate and dwelt among the people, truly God, truly man (Lk 1:26-38).   The salvation of man - men's only hope of redemption and salvation from the power of sin is through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12; Rom 5:8-13; Jam. 1:21; Eph. 2:8).   The Ordinances of the Church - baptism in water by immersion and the Lord's Supper (Mat. 28:19; Mk. 16:16; Acts 10:47-48; Rom. 6:4; 1 Cor. 11:26).   The security of the believer as he abides in Christ (John 15:6).   The Baptism with the Holy Spirit for believers with the evidence of speaking in tongues and the availability of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:43; Lk. 24:49; Acts 1:4-8; 1 Cor. 12:1-13; Acts 8:12-17; 10:44-46; 11:14-15; 15:7-9).   The final Judgement of all and the coming of a new heaven and a new earth (2 Pet. 3:13; Rev. 19:20; 20:11-15; 21:1; 21:8).   The personal and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ and the eternal fellowship with of all born again believers (1 Thes. 4:16-17; Zech. 14:5; Matt. 24.27-31; Rev 1:7; 19:11-16; 20:1-6). Recognition of body of Christ as made up of all born again believers, who make up the Priesthood of Christ (1 Pet. 2:9; 1 Cor. 12:12).   The sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling power the believer is enabled to live a holy life and the universal work of the Holy Spirit in this present age (Jn. 14:26).   The Church as the centre of God's purpose is the appointed instrument of fulfilling the Great Commission (Matt. 2 & 19; Acts 1:8).
